We started this whole BBQ thing on a whim....entering a local non- sanctioned contest. We were hooked! From there, we entered 7 sanctioned contests....did better each time...and decided to join the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Next came some more contests and a business...we're on a roll and can't wait to see where the future takes us!

2005

BBQ on the River, Bristol, Pa   -   no awards, but placed high enough that we wanted to do it again!

New Holland Summerfest, New Holland, Pa - we took a 6th place in sausage.

2006

Smoke At The Rock, Rockingham, NC - no awards here, but it was a great experience...the jet fuel semi was awesome too!

Cabela's Barbeque Challenge Hamburg, Pa - Rich took an 8th in ribs ( he beat Butch's Smack Your Lips By 2...and Cool Smoke by 10), Sean took a 4th in chicken for the kid's BBQ comp.

New Holland Summerfest, New Holland, Pa- Sean took a 3rd in chicken....Rich says we're not coming back next year...

York City BBQ & Ribfest, York, Pa- overall we were in the top 10, Rich took a 2nd for chicken & ribs, Kim took a 5th in the iron chef.

2007

Pork In The Park, Salisbury, Md- Rich took 10th in ribs and a 4th in Anything Butt

Bordertown Bash, Fort Smith, Ark- Rich took a 3rd in beans and 4th in ribs.

New Holland Summerfest, New Holland, Pa- yes...we went again....nothing...again....Rich says we're not coming back next year.....again....

2nd Annual Diamond State BBQ, Dover, De- overall we were 31 out of 83 ( not too bad), ribs...missed by 1- we were 11th....but what an experience the Dover Downs is to compete at! Wind!?.....that's an understatement!

2008

Hopefully we will have good news to put in here! Our first competition this year is April 18-19...Pork In The Park, Salisbury Md. If you're there competing or just came for the day- stop by and say hello!
